CLARK COUNTY FISH & GAME CLUB, INC. BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Monday, October 10th, 2016
October Board Meeting 10/10/2016

Meeting was called to order at 7:42 pm.
President Greg Elkins and Board Member Zack Means were absent.

Motion was made by Bill Thiry to amend the minutes of the September meeting to read:
1. Motion was made by Lee Kerr to allow camping during hunting season, in the fenced in yard and garden areas of the Estill county farm house. Second by Zack means. Motion carried.
2. Motion was made by Bill Thiry to allow Bradley Wall to find a renter for the Estill county farm house, and Bradley Wall refuse to accept the task. Motion was canceled.
3. Motion was made by Daniel K. to spend $6954.55 to purchase keys and components for upgrading access to the club gate system on both sides of the lake and the club house. Second by Zack Means. Motion carried.
4. Motion was made by Bill Thiry to rescind his amendment of phase one step two for the security system conversion from August meeting to allow for purchasing components to upgrade the club gate system. Second by Walter Newell. Motion carried.
Motion was second by Walter Newell. Motion carried.

Motion was made by Danny Clem to accept the treasury report, second by Walter Newell. Motion carried.

Rufus Cravens gave the Caretaker report.

Motion was made by Daniel K. to accept the Caretaker report, second by Danny Clem. Motion carried.

Motion was made by Danny Clem to explore the cost, to lease 10-15 acres prepared land to shoot doves on. Motion was then rescinded by Danny Clem, and Daniel K. Will explore costs.

Motion was made by Bill Thiry to include in the dues notices to change lock combinations at the Estill and Washington county farms. Second by Walter Newell. Motion carried.

Motion was made by Lee Kerr to include in the dues notice about the undertaking of habitat and fisheries improvement projects in the upcoming year. Second by John Ballard. Motion carried.

Motion was made by Randy Steagall for club to purchase items for Christmas Raffle not to exceed $1,000.00. Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried.

Motion was made by Bradley Wall to form a committee to purchase items for Christmas raffle; consisting of Bradley Wall, Walter Newell and Lee Kerr. Second by Lee Kerr. Motion carried.

Motion was made by Lee Kerr, to block out dates of May 12 and 13 for youth fishing day. Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried.

Bill Thiry mentioned the road conditions on the reservoir side of lake, and area behind blind number one.

Bill Thiry mentioned a complaint made about Caretaker's performance of duties. Board of directors is satisfied with the caretaker's performance in completing his assigned duties.

Board went over 3rd quarter budget review.

Motion was made by Randy Steagall to accept the 3rd quarter budget review. Second by Daniel K. Motion carried

Lee Kerr and Danny Clem will prepare clubhouse for youth waterfowl day.

Envelope stuffing for dues notices scheduled for 10/17/16 at 6:00 pm

Motion was made by Randy Steagall to adjourn meeting, second by Daniel K. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at about 9:15pm.
