CLARK COUNTY FISH & GAME CLUB, INC. BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Monday, February 13th, 2017
February Board Meeting 2-13-2017

Meeting was called to order at 7:40 pm. All Board members were present.

A motion was made by Walter Newell to suspend the reading of the January minutes, second by Zack Means. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Zack Means to suspend the reading of the January Treasury Report, second by Walter Newell. Motion carried.

Me. William Sharp with AT&T, addressed the Board about an easement to run fiber optic cable under the driveway of the Club entrance.

A motion was made by William Elkins to grant President Disney authority of the Board, to sign the easement contract once the changes are made that were discussed at the January meeting, second by Daniel K. Motion carried.

The Board discussed and formed a Youth Fishing Day committee for the May 13, fishing day. Committee chaired by Lee Kerr and co-chair Bill Thiry and Walter Newell. All Board members agreed to assist as available. Preparation will be evening of May 12th.

William Elkins opened discussion about repair of road on plant side of lake.

A motion was made by Daniel K. to spend not more than $1,000.00 including fuel reimbursement to Director Todd Wilson , when weather permits, second by Todd Wilson. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Daniel K. to appoint a Building Trustee Committee consisting of Treasurer Lee Kerr, Secretary Randy Steagall and Vice President John Ballard to handle emergency needs of the Club and Properties, second by Todd Wilson. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Bill Thiry to pay $1,400.00 to have repairs made to kitchen floor of Caretaker House, second by Zack Means. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Ballard to strike line on signs allowing camping in the yard of the Estill County farm house, second by Randy Steagall. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Ballard to pay standard IRS mileage to any director that visits the Estill County or Hume Farm, second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried, opposed by William Elkins.

John Ballard opened discussion to come up with a set of rules for the Estill County Farm shooting range and offered to give any Director, Range Safety Officer training course.

A motion was made by John Ballard to put $20,000.00 from the carry over of 2016 into a savings account, second by Lee Kerr. John Ballard rescinded his motion.

Bill Thiry opened discussion about getting estimates to repair Club Gatehouses.

RUFUS Cravens gave the Caretakers Report.

David Martin sat in on February Board Meeting.

A motion was made by Daniel K. to adjourn, second by Zack Means. Meeting adjourned at 8:55 pm.
