|
| Monday, November 9th, 2009 | CLARK COUNTY FISH & GAME CLUB
MONTHLY MEETING HELD ON 11-09-2009
FOLLOWING THE DINNER MEETING
The monthly meeting of the Clark County Fish and Game club for November 09, 2009 was called to order by President Joe Carrier at 7:35 pm. With the exception of Walter Newell, all Directors were present. A motion by Larry Disney to suspend the reading of the previous minutes was approved after the second to the motion was presented by Earl Chism.
UNDER THE TOPIC OF OLD BUSINESS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WERE DISCUSSED: No progress was made towards the installation of the Septic system. Don Parker brought the Club up to date on the signs that would be installed asap. Prior to the last monthly meeting Joe Carrier left behind some information on Water Fowl. At the meeting conducted on 11-09-2009 discussions were conducted and the water fowl topic was passed on a voice vote.
The road work from behind the farm house on Thornburg Bend road has been completed and new gravel laid down to make passage more feasible at a cost of $2,000. At the dinner meeting concluded earlier on this date President Joe Carrier requested for volunteer to assist in clearing away some pine bushes.
President Joe Carrier also stated that it would be very prudent to have the dozier operator complete the development of shooting range barriers before he left the site. Don Parker gave the motion to approve this request and gene Mosley gave the second. During his two days of operating the dozier he could also cut out a roadway entry all the way down to the water's edge.
Allen Howard presented a motion to accept an artificial christmas tree from Mrs. Fred Dulin and Joe Young gave the second and agreed to decorate the tree. The MOtion passed.
A great concentrated discussion was conducted on the use of the storage room as requested by Joe Carrier. He was not satisfied with the way materials were being taken without permission and he felt that all keys to the room shuld be turned in. There would be only one key and when it came time for a director of the month to get ready for his dinner, he would have use of the key. NO one individual would be permitted to gain entrance until it was his or her time for producing the meal. This would include the cleaning lady, her husband, and the current individual who purchases the supplies
Don Parker presented a motion to change the locks to the store room and have each Director turn in
their keys. There would only be one key to the store room and when it came time for a Director to produce the monthly meal he or she could obtain the use of the key. This ban would also include the use of the cook room and no one would be allowed to use the deep fryers located in that area.
The second to that motion was given by Allen Howard and was passed.
President Joe Carrier appointed the following individuals to count the ballots for electing three new directors:
Larry Disney
Larry Stewart
